These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Etraque website and mobile application (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
Etraque provides tools to create and manage events, share invitations and links, collect RSVPs, send notifications, and connect optional calendar integrations. Features may change over time as we improve the product.
You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials and for activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date where the Service allows you to edit it.
You retain rights to content you submit. You grant Etraque a limited license to host, process, display, and distribute that content solely to operate and improve the Service (for example, showing your event to invited guests and sending related notifications).
If you organize events, you are responsible for the accuracy of event details and for complying with applicable laws (including marketing and privacy rules for invitations). If you participate in events, you understand that organizers may see RSVP status and related information needed to run the event.
Etraque offers an optional Google Calendar connection so your schedule can stay aligned between Etraque and your Google account. This feature is off until you connect it in the app.
What the feature does. When connected, Etraque may:
What you agree to by connecting. If you choose to connect Google Calendar, you authorize Etraque to access your Google Calendar through Google’s OAuth consent screen for the calendar events scope (read and write events on your primary calendar). You confirm that you have the right to connect that calendar and to allow this sync. You understand that calendar sync is provided for your convenience, that timing and content may differ briefly between systems during sync, and that events Etraque writes to Google Calendar remain in your Google account until you change or delete them there or in Etraque.
Etraque does not use Google Calendar data for advertising, profiling, or resale. Calendar data is used only to operate this integration. For more detail on what we access, how long we retain it, and how we protect it, see our Privacy Policy.
Disconnecting. You may stop calendar sync at any time by going to Settings → Connected calendars in the Etraque app and tapping Disconnect on Google Calendar. You may also revoke Etraque’s access from your Google Account permissions page. Disconnecting stops future read and write access; it does not automatically delete events already present in Google Calendar or Etraque.
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. You are responsible for how you use event information (for example, travel or safety decisions).
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Etraque and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate access to the Service if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably need to do so to protect the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and may delete your account where the app provides that option.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms, to the extent permitted by law.
For questions about these Terms, contact us through the support options shown in the Etraque app or on our website.
